Each Christmas season, SBC partners with local organizations to care for women, children and families in our community who are needing a helping hand. This year, we are part of fulfilling the needs of two local organizations: 1Up Single Parent Resource Centre and Victoria Women's Transition House.
Read below about the ways these organizations are serving the under-resourced and vulnerable in our community.
On Sunday, at either of our campuses, grab a tag at the Serve the City booth. Each tag represents a woman, child or single parent. Fulfill the request on the tag by purchasing a gift or gift card.
Wrap your present
Return your wrapped present or gift card to either campus with the Name/ID# TAG attached by the relevant due date.
An idea to consider: Together as a Micro-Church, Small Group or simply a group of friends, intentionally fill the needs of an entire family.
If you would prefer for us to shop for you, you can give towards Serve the City: Christmas online.
Make sure to Change the Designation Fund to Christmas Serve the City .
