Where did you see Christ working in you, deepening your trust in Him?  What did you do this week that took faith to accomplish?

 

How do you define the gospel?

 

Read Hebrews 2:14-18.  What does this passage teach us about Jesus?  What are all the promises in this passage?  What makes this passage difficult to believe?

 

Read Mark 1:91-13.  What stands out to you about these three events?  How are they all connected?  How do they demonstrate a pattern for us to follow?

 

Have you been baptized?  If yes, how did you come to make that decision?  If not, what is the obstacle holding you back?

 

How is Jesus’ baptism a foreshadowing?  How is our spiritual position demonstrated in His baptism?

 

Why is it important to believe that Jesus overcame temptation according to the indwelling Holy Spirit?

 

Why is repentance and belief necessary to participate in God’s Kingdom?

 

Who in your life needs to know that Jesus understands what it means to be human?  Who is struggling with sin and unbelief that needs to know that they can approach Jesus and appeal to Him for help?  Pray for them, and the opportunity to share this truth with them.
