Thank you to everyone who participated! Through Serve the City: Christmas, together you provided:
- $2100 in gift cards that the Women’s Transition House will hand out throughout the year to women and families who are rebuilding their lives.
- Christmas presents for 16 kids through Angel Tree in partnership with Prison Fellowship Canada who currently have a parent serving in the prison system.
- $800 worth of groceries and $2800 worth of gift cards that were arranged into 14 baskets to be given to families either in transition housing or single parent households through The Cridge Centre and 1Up.
Then, our kids brought in 42 gift cards for a meal a various fast food chains! These gift cards will be given to Sanctuary Youth to be handed out to youth living on the streets of Victoria.
