11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.   Titus 2:11-14

  • At the turning of the year, we pause… to notice what God has already done.

What about God’s grace can you be grateful for as this year begins?

  • Where do you need / long to see / have God’s grace appear in your personal life?

Have you asked? Do it again, if not… let the Lord know your request.

  • In what ways is God’s grace trying to get your attention? Teaching / prodding you to say no …?

Have you asked? Do it again… let the Lord know desire to follow completely.

  • The work of God’s grace in our lives frees us to serve and bless others.

Spend some time asking Jesus how he wants you to serve your neighbors, co-workers

                   Any names come to mind?

Pray for them and see how God leads you bless and serve them.

We step into this new year trusting that where God’s grace appears, hope rises, healing begins, and fullness of life is possible. Amen.
