When did you experience Christ’s love this week?   What did loving Jesus cost you this week?

Read Mark 6:1-6. What stands out to you about this story?  Can you relate to Jesus, as He was treated with contempt for who He was by those closest to Him?  Do you think Jesus couldn’t do miracles there or wouldn’t do miracles there?  What does this passage teach us about faith?

When have you experienced the cost of following Christ? Do you ever struggle with familiarity with Jesus that affects how easily you accept the cost?

Which of the questions (reverse) stands out to you?  Which do you not want to answer?

In response to your answer to that question: What is one thing you will do this week to pursue Jesus for who He is not what He does?

Who in your life needs to know the miraculously inclusive love of Christ as demonstrated on the cross? What is the fear or barrier that keeps you from sharing the truth with them?
