What were you reminded of God’s love this week?  What did love cost you this week? 

 

Read Mark 4:35-41.  What stands out to you about this passage?  How do you relate to the disciples?  Where do you see Jesus’ humanity?  Why is that significant?  Where do you see Jesus’ divinity?  Why is that significant?   

  

How is sleep a declaration of faith?  When is it an act of escape?  How do you know the difference? 

  

Why do you think the disciples were terrified after Jesus calmed the storm?  Why is the reordering of our fears imperative for our faith to be strengthened? 

 

What is a predominant fear in your life (ie. Failure, Rejection, Suffering, Future, Being Known)?  How has it manifested in your thinking or in behaviours?  Have you ever talked to Jesus about it? 

 

What in your life do you need Jesus to speak over?  Spend some time appealing to Him. Allow Him to reorder your fears.
