What did you do this week that required faith? What did trusting Christ demand from you?
When life presses you into desperation where do you (honestly) turn for the possibility of something better?
Read Mark 5:21-43, what stands out to you about this passage? What is the difference between the woman and Jairus? What is similar? What would be frustrating about Jesus’ actions in this passage?
In what ways does Jesus ask more from each of them? In what ways does He give more to them than they ask for?
When God feels slow, silent, or uncertain to you, what does trusting his power, authority & love look like in real time?
What is the “more” (faith, trust, obedience) that Jesus is asking of you right now? What’s holding you back?
Spend some time praying that God would give you the faith to deepen trust, to act in obedience and surrender. Ask Him to open your eyes to the “more” that He has for you, not the least of which is a new life (like the woman) and victory over death (like for Jairus).
