Where have you seen Christ working around you this week?  When was your hope challenged?  How was your hope restored? 

  

Read Mark 1:40-45.  What stands out to you about the lepers pursuit and request of Jesus?  How was he a victim?  When have you been had a desperation for Jesus ministry? 

  

What stands out to you about Jesus ministry?  Which of those descriptions (opposite page) of his ministry are the most difficult for you to accept? 

  

How does Jesus make us clean?  How would you put the doctrine of expiation in your own words?  What does it mean to not just be forgiven but also to be made clean? 

 

Why do people sometimes resist Jesus ministry in their shame?  What are some promises of scripture that say otherwise? 

  

Who in your life needs to know that Jesus can remove the stain of sin, either done by them or to them, so that they can live in wholeness and purity?  Spend some time praying for them and look for an opportunity to share one of the promise of Christ’s ministry with them.
