I started attending SBC in 1983 and was part of the volunteer team that built WRC. My husband Bill and I have been part of various ministries at SBC over the years and continue to worship and serve at SBC-CPC campus.
I have served in the nursery, as well as helping teach Childrens Sunday School, leading Youth Group and College & Careers, serving as teller, mentoring, and on the sound and media team, as well as leading/hosting small groups. I love Serve the City and being part of impacting our community so people will talk differently about Jesus.
Through this time our faith has grown as we have seen what God does and can do and are passionate to see the work God is doing through SBC. God has used my career as an interpretive designer and anthropologist to allow me the opportunity to work with many and varied communities of indigenous peoples, atheists, artists, LGBTQ, and scientists. I love the vision at SBC and particularly appreciate how we hear from the pulpit that God uses broken people—and its ok to be broken.
