Community Life

We at SBC want to get you connected at the level you choose to be connected at. People are authentically doing life together in groups all over the city. Groups are where people learn together, pray together and Live 6:8

Are you looking for a way to get connected at SBC? Here are some great groups happening this fall:

Connections: Ladies' Night Out

This group meets the last Tuesday of the month with fun events such as line dancing, making meals in jars, and creating Christmas swag. Every month is a bit different, but its a great way to meet some ladies at our church and get connected.

Rise and Shine

Motherhood brings a lot of opporutnities for playdates and scheduled interactions with other moms, but very few opportunities for deep relationships or community. Rise and shine is for any mom, whether from the church or not, who is looking for a place to connect and be encouraged through authentic community.

After enjoying coffee and refreshments while your children are cared for, we hope you'll leave inspired to rise and shine instead of merely pushing through the chaos of the day.

2nd and 3rd Thursdays | 9:30 - 11a | WRC (4347 Wilkinson Road)

Please let us know if you can attend so we know numbers to provide appropriate childcare by emailing Sarah Doerksen at [email protected]

Starting Point

SBC exists to partner with God in His redemptive, restorative mission of transforming lives and changing cities.

Starting point is a 3-week class that will help you discover how you can partner with God and SBC on that mission.  We will help you discover your unique gifting and your next steps in living out this mission in everyday life. We’ll discuss SBC’s values, beliefs, and ministries and how you can become a member of SBC.
