Our team is off to build a school in Mexico during the spring break! They will be hosting a silent action to help cover the cost of the school and trip. Last year our fall team built a school for a community that didn't have one yet. They were travelling to another school in another community that was beyond capacity and was holding classes outside due to the overflow of kids.
Shortly after building the new school, it was already filled beyond capacity and again, kids were set up outside under tarps. Our spring team plans to go back and build a second school so that these children will be able to move indoors.
Join us this Saturday for our Mexico Silent Auction! Invite your family and friends for a great night of fun! Come out to meet the team, enjoy fresh desserts, and bid on a range of goods and services. Proceeds got to the build.
