Join us on Sunday, May 16 for a Drive-In Service! If you plan to attend, please register by 12 pm on Thursday, May 13.
The service will begin at 11:30 am. We ask that you please arrive early in order to find your spot and get set up with the audio frequency: 87.9 FM.
Please drive in via the entrance at 4347 Wilkinson Rd where you will be directed to proceed to the parking in the back lot. At this time, you will be signed in and asked if the information you gave on the health check for each person in your vehicle is still current (the link to the health check will be emailed to you when you register). From there, you will be directed to drive to a designated parking spot onsite. Song lyrics and bulletin can be found here.
We will have a stage set up where Kim and Jake York will lead us in worship through song and prayer. Then, Steve Sundby will share some teaching from the Gospel of Luke. The content will be the same as our livestream; however, we will do it in a slightly pared down version that will run about 45 minutes to help alleviate the time spent sitting in your car.
Please remain in your vehicle and maintain a distance of two metres from other participants, unless you live in the same private residence. You must not pass or share any items between cars or gather or socially engage with other participants who are leaving the service. Please keep in mind, bathrooms will not be available nor will you be permitted to leave your vehicle. In respect for our neighbours, please do not honk your horn while in the parking lot.
At the end of the service, please follow the direction of the parking attendants while exiting the lot.
A note of caution about attending an in-person worship service: People are at a higher risk of suffering from serious complications of COVID-19 if they are: a person 70 years of age or older, even if they have been immunized against COVID-19; a person who is living with another person who is infected with COVID-19, or who has upper respiratory or influenza-like symptoms; or a person with an underlying medical condition or a compromised immune system.

A copy of this health check will be emailed to those who are signed up. Each attendee will need to confirm they are not experiencing any of these symptoms before attending. Thank you for helping keep SBC and the community safe from COVID-19.
Please do not enter Saanich Baptist Church Wilkinson Road Campus property for the worship service if you:
- Have travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days.
- Have been identified by Public Health as a close contact of someone with COVID-19.
- Have been told to isolate by Public Health.
- Are displaying any of the following new or worsening symptoms:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Loss of sense of smell or taste
- Difficulty breathing
- Sore throat
- Loss of appetite
- Extreme fatigue or tiredness
- Headache
- Body aches
- Nausea, vomiting, and/or diarrhea
If you are displaying symptoms consistent with COVID-19, refer to HealthLink BC at 811. A person who as not passed a health check must not attend the worship service.
